Registration for J/Fest Southwest 10/26-27 is open! Early Registrants will get crew t-shirts and the boat name on the t-shirt! Early registration ends Saturday 9/7. Note that we are using Yachtscoring software for registration and event management this year. I'm including a - hopefully - helpful link on how to use Yachtscoring for those who have not used it before.

Here are some helpful links:

Yachtscoring helpful hints: https://lakewoodyachtclub.com/_filelib/FileCabinet/Yacht_Scoring_-_Getting_Started_.pdf
Yachtscoring Event Homepage: https://www.yachtscoring.com/emenu.cfm?eID=9577. You can actually get to everything else from there!
Notice of Race: https://www.yachtscoring.com/event_documents/9577/2019%20J%20Fest%20Regatta%20NOR.pdf
Event Registration: https://www.yachtscoring.com/event_registration_email.cfm
Current Registrants: https://www.yachtscoring.com/current_event_entries.cfm?eID=9577
Crew Waivers: The attached pamphlet explains how Yachtscoring handles crew waivers. It's very easy!!

For the J/70's this is a qualifying event for the 2020 World Championship. A minimum of 15 J/70's must be signed up to make it count!

Signing up early doesn't just help you make your crew happy - they're getting shirts - but also helps the organizers plan the best event for you! So: You know you'll do it! Sign up, please!

OK, I'm signed up but Regatta Network is so much simpler, and less hoops to jump through to register.

TD,

the sign-up is actually more involved only during the very first time you register. After that, I have found it to actually be easier and faster. We appreciate your patience, though!!

Thanks!!

I tried your link in your original message lbut always got an error message.

This https://www.yachtscoring.com/emenu.cfm?eID=9577 Worked.

Had no trouble after that.

One more thing.  Why do I need a PHRF certificate if I am sailing OD?

Please note that for the crew waivers the skipper has to go to the 'my crew' page and enter the name and email addresses of their crew. They can then click on 'send reminder' to prompt the crew memeber to complete their info and sign the waiver. The waivers must be completed in this fashion. Please make sure that y'all do this early, since it's a new process and may require just a bit of getting used to! The skipper can check on the completion status by checking the 'my crew' page. There'll be a green check mark under 'waiver' for each crew member when it's done. Otherwise there a red 'X'.

The web page is not letting me in.  I have tried several times to add my crew members names BUT every time I try to enter Owners Corner, the web site replies that it can't match my e-mail address. Plus when I try to find my own info, it can't find it ether. yet I am on the page of enters and I have a receipt from pay pal.  Regatta network is SO MUCH simpler.

Looking at the list it appears you worked it out! Right?

Reminder that there are still a lot of folks who don't have their waivers in. Some haven't listed their crew yet! That means that they haven't sent the request for waivers to their crew!

You must get your crew to sign their waivers through listing them as crew in Yachtscoring! You can NOT get this done during registration on site! Your registration will not be complete and you cannot get your package! Please save yourself a big headache and complete this process now!! It's really easy! For help, download the 'helpful hints' in the start of this string!

If you have questions, post them here or contact the race committee!
