Has anyone done this race solo? I didn't see any SOS-TEX class, so pehaps they don't allow it.

No SOS-Tex or other single hand class is offered for the Heald Bank Race.

Yippee Ki Yay.  ...looks like uhhh fun I think.  Weather forecast keeps changing but it looks like a wet and lumpy ride at least after rounding and coming home.

From Weather.Gov: Saturday...Northwest winds 25 to 30 knots. Seas 5 to 7 feet. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning.
Saturday Night...North winds 20 to 30 knots becoming 20 to 25 knots after midnight. Seas 5 to 7 feet.

Seeya Friday at the skpps meeting.

There was indeed winds 'O Plenty.  Until around 3 in the boring the stayed in the range 20-25 with occasional gusts in the 30-31 range.  Surprisingly, the 4-6' sea state was not all that bad, and indeed the skies were vivd with the plants and stars buying bright.

Bee

Ok, plants is supposed to be planets.  I wrote that with only 1 hour of sleep.
