Experience gained racing (and winning) as a teenager in various small planing dinghies (Laser, Duster, Jet 14, Comet, Thistle) in the lakes and bays around New York City Metro area got me onto larger boats on larger water (J-24, J-29, J-80) (Long Island Sound) before relocating to Houston.

Interested in getting back on the water.  Haven't sailed much in recent years, so I expect to be rusty - but quick learning and cat-like reflexes should work well for everyone.  I actually prefer the refreshing winter weather to the heat of summer.
