Can anyone recommend a good fuel polishing/fuel tank cleaning service in the area?

Bob,   There is a company on Main Street in La Porte. It's called Diesel Fuel Maintenance, Inc. I've just know I have driven past there shop for a few years.

I also had Diesel Fuel Maintenance do Tramp just a few weeks ago. We had a fuel leak in the port tank, so had them remove the fuel (120 gals) and polish the starboard tank (180 gal) for a cost of $450. Seabrook will not let you do it at the dock, so we used  Seabrook Shipyard at a nominal fee.

Diesel Fuel Maintenance recently cleaned both fuel tanks on Bayou Baby.
The upfront fee was 400 $.
The job took longer significantly longer than expected because the fuel was old and quite contaminated.
They stuck to the originally agreed upon price.
I recommend them.
