What a fabulous weekend.  Beautiful fall weather, crystal clear (OK some haze) skies, and some great races put on by the GBCA PROS and CONS.  Thanks guys for the great job, the great awards (especially the fun stuff put on by that crazy Bez woman), and the great parties.  Brad's hat was priceless!

Would like to thank all the participants in PHRF B for their class act during the racing.  While we missed the OD racing we are so used to the crew of Stinger really enjoyed racing with such a classy bunch.  We found that three or four boats finishing within seconds, regardless of rating, is just as exciting as the same thing in OD.

Second to Bee's comments.  Close mark roundings, close finishes, and just a touch of controversy (for which I apologise) makes for an interesting weekend.  Lots of tired bodies, but everyone hanging out together at the party on Sunday and having a great time cause GBCA did a good job of both race and party.

Happy to be a part of it.  And many thanks to the folks who gave up their party time Saturday so they could watch Bee and I mud-wrestle.  Kudos to the jury and witnesses.  Just don't expect either of us to ever do it again.

I'm adding pictures of Saturday's race tonight (right now) and will load Sunday's tomorrow.  Will create the set tomorrow morning when I get into work so you will have to go to http://www.flickr.com/photos/lacyphotos/ right now and http://www.flickr.com/photos/lacyphotos/sets/ tomorrow.

Enjoy

Pictures 1148 to about 1465 or so where taken by John Dees (Chris Dees' son).  Big thanks!  ;)   He pretty much took all of the pictures of the second race on Saturday.  (Hey, dad, kid needs a camara! Santa)  Scott took some pictures of the bee and betty boop incident ;D

Enjoy!

I got another 275 pictures loaded from Day 2, Sunday, of the BBVA Compass Bank Race.  Still loading up more but the set is built.  Sorry for the delay :-\
