Novice sailor looking to crew

Hello Folks 

My name is Raji and I've completed ASA101. I have taking a Watkins 27 out on the bay few times. I am looking to join a crew to gain more sailing skills. My instructor advise to join the rum races to gain more experience.. I have an electrical engineering background and ride motorcycles and physically fit.
