Has the date for next years regatta been selected yet?

How many boats to make a class?

I am trying to promote it with Mini's to race down.

Sam,
The start for the 2010 Regata de Amigos will be Friday, 6.18.10.  It would be cool to have a class of Mini?s.  

Plans are being finalized for the Tall Ship regatta that will visit Veracruz after our event.  Their site now says arrivals beginning 6.23.10, but I have heard they may arrive sooner.  Plans are to close the harbor to commercial traffic and have them all moor along the big dock across from the malecon.   That should be quite a show.

Interestingly, I don't see the Elissa as one of the tall ships participating. 
That would be a relatively short hop to Veracruz....

Expanding on that thought, maybe she could race down with us?
How cool would that be?
