Classic Canvas at the Shoe

This year?s Shoe Regatta has a class called Classic Canvas.  Some of you may be curious as to what that is.  Basically, the only difference between the cruising non-spinnaker distance class and the classic canvas is that only boats with Dacron sails can enter the Classic Canvas class.  Because PHRF doesn?t correct for types of sails (Dacron vs. Mylar, etc.), creating a Classic Canvas fleet levels the playing field for us non-high performance racers.  So, calling all rag heads.  Let?s play!
