Thinking about the U. S. Marines

Lindsay Lohan, 24, all over the news because she's a celebrity drug addict, while Justin Allen 23, Brett Linley 29, Matthew Weikert 29, Justus Bartett 27, Dave Santos 21, Chase Stanley 21, Jesse Reed 26, Matthew Johnson 21, Zachary Fisher 24, Brandon King 23, Christopher Goeke 23, and Sheldon Tate 27, all U.S. Marines, gave their lives this week, with little or no media mention.

In all twenty service men and women gave their lives for our country this week. They are certainly more worthy of our attention and respect than the bums in hollywood.

As the daughter of a Marine (RIP Dad - I love you!!) and the girlfriend of a former Navy SEAL, my thoughts are always with those who serve and their loved ones, especially those who gave their all to keep us safe.
