Looking to volunteer on boat through the fall/winter

I was starting to learn crew in 2017 through the Rum Races on a few boats but moved away.
I'm currently in Pasadena area through many weekends in the fall/winter and would love to find a boat willing to take on a still novice with experience for practices/Saturday runs/ etc over the next few months. Please email me at

Hey Melissa,

I had you out on my boat a couple of times back in 2017 .   Just saw you September post on Crewfinder.   

I am planning on going out this Saturday (12/7) for the Chili Chase Race.   I could use another crew person for the race.   Would you like to come out and try the boat out again.   Likely a mid morning start and then there is a Chili tasting after race party at the GBCA clubhouse.   

If you cannot make this date but would like to go out on a big boat again, let me know and I will put you back on my email list.
