Frank Easby-Smith will be riding with the Bike Barn team again this year from Houston:

Frank Easby-Smith once again accepted the challenge to raise funds to support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society by riding in the BP MS 150 on April 18 & 19. This will be the second year he has participated in the 180 mile bicycle ride from Houston to Austin. One thing that is different this year is that he must first travel to Houston from Punta Gorda, FL where he now lives. For his friends that live in the Houston area, he looks forward to seeing us in April and for those that don't, he hopes our paths will cross sometime soon. This year, it is faster and easier than ever to support this great cause by making your tax-deductible donation by clicking on the link to his personal page below..

He will be riding with the Bike Barn team again this year, and with our support, he hope to raise more than the $1000 I raised last year. Whatever you can donate will help in the fight to defeat this terrible disease. He truely appreciate your support.

Was Rolanda Sue in 4th place or 5th place in Rum Race 6 ?
I see she got only 1 point for that race. I do not see 5th boat in this SOS group in race 6. Did she finish on time? If she did finish on time she should get 2 points for 4th place instead of 1 point. Only 5th place gets usually 1 point.

Galveston Bay Area Racing / Re: 1 day vs. 2 day regattas

Why don't we have "Rum Race" type regatta/race every Saturday when there are no other races in Bay area, with total scores on the end of each year? We can call it "Four Seasons Race". Regarding food for party every Saturday that can be changed to "Potluck Party". Everybody can bring food and drink. Those who have problem with this idea are welcome to stay those weekends home and watch TV.

Regarding Shorthanded Class - boat "Seleh" should be "Selah"
Thank you.
