I have for sale a lightly used and newly refurbished Tohatsu 3.5HP Two stroke, long shaft outboard motor. These were sold under the Nissan, Johnson, and Mercury labels, and also Tohatsu and doubtless several others.

Very simple, dependable, and lightweight motor. About 35#. More powerful than a Honda 2HP. I have used these on J/80s,27s, 24s, Moore 24s, and Wylie Wabbits. This one has only been test run since rebuild. It was purchased for use on my Wylie Wabbit. The Wabbit sold, and as her new owner (Hi Brett!) eschews outboards, this one is for sale. You can't buy a new one (here, at least.) $425.00

I just read on SA that Jay Lutz's team was hit by a Press RIB in the practice race at the J/80 Worlds in Santander. Jay apparently suffered a broken pelvis (3 places, and L2 fracture.)
