Hi:

I'm an experienced racer that's looking for a HMR ride.  I had a ride aboard J105 Stinger however they had to withdraw due to a structural repair that will not be completed in time to race.

My sailing resume includes 10 HMR's, 21 Chicago - Mackinac races, 6 Port Huron - Mac races, Swiftsure Cup 2016 - 2nd in class Santa Cruz 52 Medusa, Transpac 2017 Santa Cruz 52 Medusa, California Cup Santa Cruz 52 turbo Kopopelli2 etc.

Very skilled at all positions.  Please contact me so we can discuss further.

Crew Finder / good crew available - HMR 2013
May 14, 2013, 10:52:18 PM
I know its a little early but I have 5 crew members that are looking for Harvest Moon rides.  They are all competent sailors and 4 of the 5 have sailed on a 2nd place boat in last year's regatta.  However, their boat that they crewed on last year isn't racing this year.

The 5th crew member looking has done a lot of inland racing and makes very good crew as well.

Please contact me if you have berths available for them for this race.  The 4 would preferably like to stick together but are willing to split up as well. They all can provide sailing references.  Thank you for your consideration.

Crew Finder / Want to Crew on Saturday LYC's Bay Cup I
February 26, 2013, 01:25:44 PM
Looking for a ride for a friend for this Saturday's Bay Cup I out of LYC.  He's been sailing for about a year and did the Harvest Moon last year.  He's about 6, 235, and works out regularly.  Can follow direction and doesn't get sea sick.  He'd make a good tailor / grinder.

Please contact me if you have a spot for this sailor.  Thank you.

Galveston Bay Area Racing / Re: Need Life Boat

I stand corrected - the ad was in the May 2012 Sailing Magazine.  Company is called Survival Products and they advertise a 4-6 man life raft for only $1,370.  And a 9-13 man for only $1,785.  Here's their number - - 954 966-7329

I just saw an advertisement for a 4-6 man life raft for $1,500.  The ad was either in Sailing World or Sail magazine.
