Some municipalities shut down bridges when the wind speed hits a number, seems they would like to know what it is blowing, EH?

Everyone should try finishing the race around 8 PM.  Seeing all the boats sailing into the sunset is fantastic!

And that is rum racing at it's best! All the best boats of the race at the finish line at the same time. COOL EH?

I believe the spelling of the 3rd place boat in SOS needs a "V" instead of the "S"

Someone needs to buy this boat and join the C22 fleet! We have a great class shaping up on Wednesday nights. I don't know anything about this particular boat but let us know if you buy it and we'll help you get it up to speed. Also, the fleet's cruising captain is druming up interest is other on the water activity.

I think they just have to do their penance before the end of the race.

Looks like they made one tack(at the Dry Tortugas) the whole trip. When they got to the marina they wandered around awhile trying to find a slip, EH? Or the harbormaster.
I had trouble with I-Boat tracking, did anyone else? The SPOT seemed to be spot-on.
New Years in Key West! HAPPY NEW YEAR HOT TICKET et al!

Your handicap determines your start time; read the race instructions and it's attachment for your start time. However, I don't see them posted on gbcadotorg yet. Shouldn't be long now before being posted.

Sounds like GBCA might have a couple of "volunteers" for updating the trophy cabinet and documentation. Thanks John and Bee!
BTW Bee, find it under "What is GBCA? - Perpetual Trophies".

HYC has posted the results for the PHRF B and C classes this afternoon and the results are different than what put up before Sundays racing(or lack thereof). Anyone have an explanation of the changed results? I got to say, we were not expecting our finish to change. The lower quarter of the headsail delaminated in the last race leaving us a Kevlar seine to work with. Actually, a good sail wouldn't of helped us either.

Hope to see y'all in January.
