General Discussion / Re-uped for 2014 (E.B.)
January 15, 2014, 08:05:15 AM
I'm showing as a member and I picked up my calendar last Saturday.  Will I get a membership card and how can I find the most recent copy of the Cannon? Thanks.

Sol Air #53 is on page 11 of the photos.  3 crew on board and no flag.  The #713 is Lil Bit A Sol Cruising Class shows 3rd which is correct.  Kinda busy at the finish line. Took last year off,  glad to be back..

I believe the boat is at Watergate. It belongs to Kyle Lafoon who is a TASS member. Jan sold it some years ago.

The bay is finally being cleaned up. Approximately nine abandoned platforms are being removed from the bay.  This includes the two large platforms north of Redfish as well as J mark. Yes, I said J mark. I believe "H" is on the hit list as well. Check out the TMCA website for photos of the removal and a list of derelict platforms.

Terry.  Why did you sell?  You seemed to have that spinnaker down...

Thanks Chris.  I may take you up on that.  I don't think it's the same model part though.

Bee.  Good suggestion.  I already thought of that.  I can only locate half of the part.

Scott.  Thanks for the input.  I looked at it and it's not the same part. Raymarine must have changed the design. There are two of those at the used part place on FM2094.

The clutch lever for my auto-pilot snapped in half.  Is there anyone who has an old model 3000 they would be willing to sell parts from?  If not, I'd like to borrow this part and have a metal duplicate made. I've gone through 3 in 13 years because they are poorly designed and tend to break in half. Any help would be appreciated.  I've checked E-bay, Raymarine, etc. to no avail..

Ron.  Your Cruiser Rating may change each race in which you participate. You must report your finish time which may lead to a rating adjustment depending on how you rank amongst the other finish times.
