I have raced with Jim, and against him, never a bad word to say, always positive, and happy to see you.  A positive role model for all.  I would offer that he just switched Yacht clubs.  I wonder what boat he would pick for the next race.

Actually I believe we are supposed to ring a bell in fog both my little Irwin and big Irwin have a bell.  Put that on your xmas list and be ready for fog.  Either that or an infrared camera they can see through fog.

I distinctly remember a crunch when it was not foggy.  I think there were no pictures we were too stunned

Reminds me of another licenced captain or is it the same one on a different boat?  Couple of years ago going up the chanel under sail and a powerboat tried to put an anchor in my ear...yelling rule 19 on a wednesday night.

What do they teach in that class?

sent note to watergate.  I drove around there last weekend looking for one.  I did not walk the docks.  My masts are going up soon.

There is an Irwin 52 in the PHRF database named Kiva with an owner name Jan J. Buskup.  Does anyone have a contact number for them? Kevin has some rigging questions on my irwin.
