Registration for J/Fest Southwest is now open. As always, early registrants get free t-shirts for all crew members! Sign up early! Who wants to explain to their crew that they don't get a t-shirt because the skipper didn't sign up in time! Massive early signup promotes the event to non-locals and gives you better competition!

J/Fest Southwest is earlier this year because of Harvest Moon timing. The regatta is on October 10-11.

Time's running out for the J/Fest early registration deadline on September 2 at 5:00pm. Remember that this will get you 2014 regatta t-shirts for every crew member! Your crew won't be happy with you if you let that date slip by without signing up!! We're asking you to sign up early to show folks from out of town that this is the place to race, so that they bring their boats down and mix it up with the locals! That's good for everybody!

Does anyone know if we will have to cross any dredge pipelines during icicle 4? It's not clear to me from the doc's posted.

Gentle reminder that the early registration incentive for the 2013 J/Fest Southwest Regatta (t-shirts for all crew members) ends on September 2 at 5:00pm!

All J/Boats sailors, make plans to participate in the 4th annual J/Fest Southwest on November 2-3! As incentive for early sign-up, LYC is offering free regatta T-shirts (long-sleeved) for all crew members for boats that sign up before 1700 hrs on September 2, 2013! We want to show those that might travel from far away that it is worthwhile to come to this event. They look at the registration list to decide. That's why we want it populated early!

Gentle reminder that normal registration for J/Fest Southwest (10/13-14) closes at the end of this week on Friday, September 28th!! Please sign up and tell your racing colleagues to do the same!

Race Tracking: The J/70, J/24, J/105 and J/109 classes have elected to participate in Kattack race tracking. If you are in one of these classes you need to either rent a tracking unit or pay a small set-up fee to defray the cost of the tracking through Kattack. Either option must be paid for by 9/28. You can conveniently make this payment as part of registration using the Regatta Network 'Storefront'.

At the same storefront you can order sandwich bags from Neptunes for both days and also make reservations for the spectator boat for your family and friends. Note that space on the spectator boat is limited!

Great raffle items Friday (skipper's meeting) and Sunday! And make plans to attend the awesome dinner (same shrimp boil as last year!) with live music on Saturday night!!
