Low tides coming soon. this should make for some good crab trap hunting (26,000 traps removed, and counting):
"...TPWD's 8th Texas Abandoned Crab Trap Removal Program that runs from February 19-28. During the 10-day period, all Texas bays will be closed to crabbing with crab traps, and any traps left in the bay will be presumed to be abandoned and considered litter under state law, thus allowing anyone to legally remove any crab traps they find..."

In past years we have been able to drop them off at the Seabrook ramp, under the bridge...
It was nice to sail around this weekend without having to dodge crap pots all day.
