Un-Classified Ads / Honda 9.9 for sale
December 26, 2020, 07:35:00 PM
I have a 2004 Honda 9.9 for sale.  It has the extended shaft and remote throttle and gear shift.  It is a manual start.

Sounds like fun, which is why I race.  Will try to put together crew and talk it up.  Would like to get more multihulls, so I can start at my PHRF time instead of Cruising club time and actually see my competitors from the start.

I agree that flying your class flag the whole race is important.  As someone who has to try to catch people it is nice to know when you are racing someone in your class.  I also appreciate those who fly good sized flags so that it is very obvious a class flag.  I have been racing orange but next week I may be nonspin or short handed PHRH so I will have to come up with a dark and a white flag.

When I raced catamarans we not only flew different colored ribbons but flew them from different places on the sail.  "A" fleet red from boom, "B" fleet blue from 1st batten and "C" class yellow from second batten.  That gave us two ways to identify a racer.

Was wondering when new handicap numbers would be posted.

I like the earlier start since I start so late any way and in case of light winds need more time to finish.

That ap is neat.  Just downloaded it will try it in Icicle 5.  Can we see all the boats using the ap? I will be Tri-d'n True #49.

Being new to GBCA racing, what are the times for the Icicle Race?  Will there be a NOR like for the Rum Race? I need to get a commited crew together.
