Must be all that beer she drank.
Fabulous. Keep up the good work.
Great Job Karen, Dave, and Scott !
One day to go - it's tight, we're ahead by one point so we need to do really well tomorrow, especailly if there is a throw-out. I can't complain since this is my first time doing this! Dave, Scott and our fourth crew member Jim O'Loughlin have been awesome and I could not have asked for better team mates to put up with the rookie that I am!!
(Bee, unfortunately there is no drinking during the rqaces. Afterwards is another story!!) 8)
Excellent. Go fast!
Looks to me like she kept on Chugging:
1st place after 9 races. Are they done? I see a throughout. They gave up 3 points and are in 1st by 2. Bullet in last race.
It's official - Team Penrose has won the Blind Sailing Nationals!! They are qualified for the World's in Japan. Way to go Karen, James, Scott and Dave!
Awesome!
Congratulations Karen, David and the rest of the crew. That is quite an accomplishment.
OK Babe, I owe you a nice Belgium Beer. How about a very nice Chimay?
How bout a nice Belgium Beer for the entire crew? Would that be good?
Belgian beer is nice, but if she' s got my my vote for Yachtsman (sorry Karen) of the year.
Congratulations to all of the crew for a great victory!
Congratulations Karen, Dave, Scott and Jim!!
I'll vote for that.
I'll take the beer and just nominate the boys for crew of the year. They deserve the real credit.
Awesome Job to Karen + crew!!!!
Karen,
Congratulations and cheers to you and your crew. I admire your courage and conviction in pursuing this. What a thrill for you and all of us.
All the best,
George
Congrats Karen and crew!!! There are a lot of folks around here that are proud of you. Nicely done. But, why did you wait till the last race ???
We were just trying to keep y'all in suspense!
Nice writeup on page 12 of HYC's Windjammer:

They took out my best quote. After thanking the crew and mentioning how David was my "talker", I said that he was also my other half and that racing is the only time he gets to tell me what to do! :)
and ... I still owe you that Belgian Beer.
Have to figure out how to do that.
Bee, bring some down to Port A?? :)
Sounds like a plan.
