I think that email will work.
The NOR shows a $10.oo late fee.
Ladies - we are creating a cruising class!
Right now - it's a J109, a J40 and a Beneteau something (what is it Teri?)
If you're interested in cruising around some marks on Saturday with your big boat - there is still time!
It's a Beneteau 393, with AC, blender, and a loud stereo, so we may not be the fastest but we will be very comfortable...
Let's get more boats out on the cruising line! Come on, ladies...it's non-spin, one distance race each day, lots of fun! There only has to be 40% women on board, with a lady at the helm...still time to register!
The ladies of GBCA had an impressive showing. Terry, Bevelry, Emma, Jody...
Congrats Beverly in the big boat class.
A BIG congrats to Emma Doss, who won the Catherine Spiller Trophy racing a J22.
and Corrie, Lucy, Mary, Bridgett, Andrea.....
Beverly - insert your crew here!
GBCA Women showed up in great numbers!
...and LindaJ, and KathyR, and DeAnneM, and BettyB, and AndreaP, and TerriC, and LeighZ, and Margaret (AnneLee's sister), and I can't forget to praise my cabin boys that took care of all our needs both days - JeffK, PeteM, and my ever-supportive hubby.
Great competition, great racing, superb after-racing, overall great weekend - I hope we can start planning now for the chick-on-the-stick!
I'm doing all I can to put the C back in gbCa!!!
Reads like a who?s who of GBCA women. Prominent members, past and present Board members and perpetual trophy winners?
Well done ladies!
Sounds like the makings of a rematch...
Mark down Sept 12th, the GBCA Woman's Regatta...
More wind will be ordered.
That was fun!
Oh, and thanks for those tasty "hybrid" mojitos Jody
Cabin Boy Chris
