Hi All
Below is a photo of a part on my boat that is inline on the head dicharge between the head and diverter valve for the over board dump or holding tank.
Can anyone identify this part it has a three bolt loose flange when opened it has the two halves which have a rubber gasket on each half, it would seem a little elaborate for a coupling, I was thinking it may at one time have been a check valve?
The boat was originaly fitted with an electrosan system long gone.
Would appreciate any help on this.

I'd bet a dollar it is (was) a check valve. How far from the discharge is it located?
Its just downsream of the head before the diverter valve & vented loop!
