Title: Bee, can you help me?
Post by: Danny on December 27, 2010, 09:51:23 PM
Looking to find a fuel tank for a Santana 30/30 GP.  I read that you had to replace one, and I was wondering where you got it and what type it was to begin with.  Mine is now a bladder type, and I thought you may bee able to help point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance... :)

Oh darn.  Sorry but I can't help.  I did not have to replace one, I had to find a water leak that caused water get into the tank.  The leak was actually at the stanchion where the breather hose is attached.  I don't remember which one that is but its one of the two up front.

The guy that fixed all this, Oscar Tatuaka, is no longer around so I can't ask him either.

Can't you go with a bladder again?  Might ping the guys at W. D. Schock and see what they have to say.

Nope.  Solid as a rock.  Had to extract and drain it at least twice.  Oskar did such a  good job I hated to seem him retire in Costa Rica.
