Messages - Stellar of Course

Rhonda:
We need at least one more Lady Racer to crew with us on Stellar of Course for the Womens Regatta, if you know another Lady Racer that would be good as well. You can contact me at 936-328-7361. We race in the GBCA Club Handicap Class.

Thanks

I went online to register for the Chili Chase regatta this morning and saw that the only option was for a late fee. The NOR states late fees will be charged after Nov 29. I think we may have a error somewhere.

We always  have room for extra crew. I have a list of people who crew with us and depending their ability to get time from other obligations our crew will vary from race to race. We can sail with as many as 7 onboard with overcrowding.

As I mention we race in the Club Handicap fleet and this year we will race in the Club Handicap Spinnaker fleet. We are still working to get better with the spinnaker. You are most welcome to sail with us.

I am working on my Power Point I send to Cruzan Rum. If anyone has pictures of Rum Race #6, on the race course or at the party, please send them to me. I have pictures from Bill Tarnick and Robert Best so far, as well as the ones I took at the party. More is always better.

For Aug 10th Friday night race. I know we will have reflective tape and blinking lights on the bouy, but, are there any remains of M55 still at the old location? As we will be rounding this  mark in the twilight or dark and this will be a windward mark some of us may indeed pass close to the original M55.

For Club Handicap Class:

Were Wine Knot and Hammertime in Club Handicap?  I thought first place was awarded to Point of Beginning at the after race awards party?

So far we have 12 boats signed up for TRW. I know there are more Cruising Class boats ready for some offshore sailing, sign up now and avoid the rush. Cruzan Rum will sponsor the Awards Party, free Rum, live band, good food and lots of good stories.
