TackTick or Velocitek ProStart?

The ProStart seems to offer a lot more functionality for a bit more money, does anyone have any experience with them? I'm going to be racing a J/22 this year, are there any class rules that would keep me from using it?

Tacktick micro compass is legal.  Velocitek is not class legal.

One can exactly duplicate the function of the Velocitek with a decent marine handheld GPS.  I'd go with the Tacktick.  If gives you upwind lifted and headed indications in a really neat visual form.
