What a spectacular finish to January sailing with GBCA. One more race to go for the Icicle series. I got to go out on Shaken Not Stirred to take some pictures. It was an honor to be on board with Brian and Jay from the Wounded Warriors Project. Here is the link for the pics.http://www.flickr.com/photos/lacyphotos/sets/72157629087287793/
A great tune-up for the GBCA Frostbite Regatta on Feb 18. See you all at the Commodore's Ball next weekend.

Icicle #4 was a fun one. How cool to give up the helm for the WW guys for a leg or two. The smiles in the pics say it all!

Stellar of Course

For the last Icicle Race scheduled for March 10, will this be the Judge Smyth(sp) regatta,  as.was done  last year?  We had a lot of fun with that regatta. Skippers in Blue Blazers and Ascots, what a sight.

BJSailor

That would be Judge Smails...  Judge Elihu Smails.

Great golfer, great sailor.

"Spalding get your foot off the boat! "
"Don't you people have homes?"
"Don't you people have jobs?"

Christopher

Yes, March 10th Icicle is also the Judge Smails regatta.

Just for B. J.

Does understanding systems with prime sub bases reduce the number of different kinds of people?

BJSailor

Bee,
If the delta e in my Forrier Transform is small enough I can reduce out nearly all pertubative effects and end up with a pretty homogenous population that can be very predictive.  In a binary universe, 10 choices are all you need.

The delta in your Fourier Transform only controls the maximum frequency.
