What's the over/under for BEE breaking 1000 posts this year?

Bee

I will work on it, so bet on it.

As usual I managed to not get the raceQS app started.  However, I did learn that turning auto start on does not mean that the app will automatically begin execution.  Maybe next week.

Anyway, here is Stinger's track for the Rum 2.

It was a great day on the bay yesterday! I forgot to count the boats, but it had to be over 50. It was good to see you on the water Bee. We got a few pictures last nite: https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacyphotos/sets/72157645057673422/ , and the link to all sets: https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacyphotos/sets/ . It looked like a sailmakers day with all the spinakers taking a beating. If anyone wants the full size pictures, send me an email at sailsong@swbell.net.
Thanks to Gerhard Wittich and Linda Hall for cooking up the brats and thank to all that helped clean up. Also thanks to Dave Christensen and Chris Dees for a very informative "Intro to Racing" seminar. We had quite a few new racers and new boats. Rum Race 3 is next weekend. See you on the Water.

Nice video! The pit looked like a nice Italian Spaghetti Dish with a red and green sauce  ;D!

Kind of like filming your dysfunctional family and posting it to the internet. Not sure how I feel about airing the "family linen".

Personally, I thought it was very functional. After doing R/C work for the past 8 years and hearing all the chatter at the leeward gates, I thought that was pretty tame. What was really impressive, was after the race Brock came up to me (guess he has not watched me race Flying Kiss on Wed nights) and asked for tips on how to sail the FJ. I believe he got to see how it all works together! Keep up the good work!

The Corinthian Sprit is alive at GBCA. "Terroist" was the first Non-Spin to finish but had a medical emergency. They informed "Tramp" and had to leave the finish area. "Be Easy" was the next to finish and took the names of the next boats. I was able to catch up with "Be Easy" and informed them of "Terroist's" situation and team "Be Easy" conceded first place. Thanks to Duane and team "Be Easy" and everyone behind.
It was another great day on the bay for Rum Race 3. It was a little too much wave action at the finish for Tramp and we made an early exit. I was able to get a few pictures of the start, the first mark, and a few at the finish. The link is https://www.flickr.com/photos/lacyphotos/sets/72157644768639300/. If you would like the full size pics, send me an email at sailsong@swbell.net, and tell me the picture number(s). Watch out for Team Tuma at the Junior Regatta!

Counted only 40 boats on this Fathers Day weekend.  So, it's either getting hot or people have gone to visit family.  There was good 18-20 breeze out of the south for the third running of 2014.

Get your friends and buddies boats out for the next rum run on July 12th.

From the SI's
IX. Finishing
The first yacht in each class to cross the finish line will be the winner of the class and be required to record the next 4 places in her class by legibly recording the boat name and or sail numbers. The finishing information then must be presented to the race chairman at the social event following the race. Remember, to score a first place, a yacht must both cross the finish line first and record the next four finishers.

Spin Sprit:
1.  Pingo
2.  Stinger
3.  Parsons Project
4.  Mojito
5.  Leading Edge

Check out https://www.facebook.com/GBCATexas for the video from Rum Race 4 last nite. Sorry we were not able to get everyone on video. I will save some battery next time for later finishers. A selfless plug. GBCA is a great Place to Race. Make sure you membership is up to date or become a member, especially if you want to win your class in the overall Rum Race Series. Only with your support can Our Club get even better. I will get the photos out this afternoon.
