Texas Challenge Cup NOR Amendment # 1

The representatives of the Deeded Clubs have agreed to amend the NOR and Agreed Format/Rules as follows:

Paragraph 5.1 of the NOR is amended to read as follows:

All competitors, including alternates, must be bonafide members of deeded or invited clubs; however, each club using a borrowed PHRF boat may allow the owner or his representative as a crew member, but if the owner or representative is not a club member, he may not helm a team?s boat at any time during the regatta.  Additionally, one non-member may crew on a PHRF boat and a J80, but may not helm the boat while racing.





The Rules paragraph of the Agreed Format/Rules attachment to the NOR is amended as follows:



Eligibility ? each participant must be a bona fide member of the Club he/she is competing for, except that for borrowed PHRF boats, the owner or his representative may be permitted on a boat, but may not helm the boat while racing.  In addition, a non-member may be crew on a PHRF boat and a J80, but may not helm the boat while racing.
