Title: 2012 HYC Mid Winter, February 11-12
Post by: Bee on January 24, 2012, 06:33:34 PM
I tried to sign up for HYC's MidWinter today.  Surprised to learn that there were J22, J80, and J109 classes but no J105 classes.

Why is that?

A simple oversight, that's all.

The entry form has been changed to include J/105's, and as always, J/105's, all types of J-Boats, and other craft, are most welcome at the HYC Mid-Winter Regatta.

I knew that James.  Pretty much just pulling your chain.  Thanks for getting it changed.

Will try to get a many of our locals to sign up.  We now have 10 boats here but getting more then 7 to show up is still a bit difficult.

Stinger will be there for sure.

Here's the HYC hyperlink to encourage more boats to sign up!

It looks like one of the brand new VX boats will be making an appearance....

For anyone sailing the HYC Mid-Winter this weekend out of Kemah Boardwalk Marina, be aware there is a 5k/10k foot race kicking off at 8:00.  The 10k is a double loop in Kemah and involves Bradford and 6th St. There could still be runners out there after 9:00.  Though the finish is on Kipp and shouldn't interfere.
