What's the latest relative to a NOOD replacement?  Is the J24 Fall Circuit the only thing HYC is going to offer?

Toss it on the trailer and hit the gov cup regatta first weekend in oct and then wurstfest first weekend in nov.  Both are really fun events.

With trailer and boat we weigh in at just over 11850 lbs.  Not going to try to put the 6.5' draught in the water at Canyon Lake.  Will have to find crew opportunities.

Stay tuned for the GBAD Regatta taking the place of the NOOD.  GBCA with the Galveston Bay PHRF committee will be offerring the Galveston Bay All Design Regatta.  Watch for it!!  It's so good, it's GBAD.

<<It's so good, it's GBAD.

By jingo, I think that would be a great T-shirt slogan for the event!

Bee is building an i550? I was actually thinking of starting a ply-boat like that as well. What would be the possibility of seeing your build Bee. I would love to see what you have done so far.

There's another guy in the area who's building - name Chris Farmer?  He's pretty far along.

I also have a buddy who use to race with us here in Texas - moved to San Fran and is building Shaw 640 (Viper 640 on steroids)

Seriously, build.. buy.. whatever.  Sailing these 20' sportboats are so much damn fun you wont beleive it.  @ the LYC demo, everyone i took out on the viper was shocked at how much fun and easy the boat is to sail..  same will be true for the I550 and Shaw.
