The 2020 GBCA Wall Calendars will be late this year.  Sorry about that.  They won't be submitted to the printers until Monday.

The upside is that a few months are still available if you'd like to sponsor one.  If you've got a photo you'd like to appear in the Calendar you can send it to me the sponsorship is $100.00.  Mail submissions or questions to kbbednar  at gmail dot com.    I can add a logo for you if you send it to me and I'll be happy to put some text in an open spot on the image. 

The printing is generally very quick so I'm hopeful everyone will have theirs by the end of the month.

Daniel, I get what you're saying but keep in mind;  Scott and the rest of the board have been tweaking the Rum Race and Icicle Series race instructions for some time now and last year's Rum Races and this year's Icicle Series had larger turn-outs than the previous several years.  The Rum and Icicle races are no-charge fun races but don't let that fool anyone into thinking that The Board isn't doing it's best to increase the fairness, fun and turn-out.

Everyone driving down for the Commodore's Ball needs to be aware that the Gulf Freeway heading South will be closed at Scarsdale all weekend long.

Also, Kemah is doing roadwork on 146 so it may be backed up this weekend as well. 

I'm thinking that maybe take the beltway to Genoa Redbluff and take Red Bluff down to Kirby?

Great news Jeff, I trust that you read the fine print regarding GBCA's commission.

He was pretty competitive in the PHRF non-spin fleet.

Windward Seaventure offers the course on wheel boats with biminis.  Usually a Beneteau or Hunter in the 31-40 foot range.

Simply find your start time on the standard GBCA Rum Race racing instructions as linked above and subtract three hours to find your start time.  Then race the "Standard" course as described in the instructions. (Not the "Reverse" course.)

This is not a GBCA sanctioned event, there is no organizing authority, no redress, no prizes, etc. 

Show up afterwards at the Windward Seaventure office at Waterford Harbor and or the GBCA clubhouse with whatever you'd like to drink and eat.  If the party isn't at one, it's probably at the other.

This is an excellent opportunity to shed any perishables that you'd planned to use on the way down to Port Aransas.

Even if it was a very long time ago, I've probably still got the record.  I get over a hundred fake account sign ups a day and I know I've missed some legit accounts.
