We are looking for 2 crew for the 2013 Harvest Moon Regatta . The boat is a 31 foot Dufour 31. This will be my third Harvest moon. We are running in the cruising non-spin class. We have three crew confirmed but would like two, possibly three more for a comfortable sail down.

This has been resolved.

My good friend bought a boat (31') and we had prepped for HMR this year, but last minute repairs is causing him to withdraw. I have been sailing pretty regularly on J/24s both club racing and circuit stops since 2008 and this August both planned and sailed from Clear Lake to Matagorda Bay and back. I have crewed on two previous HMRs, 2008 and 2010, as well as numerous TRW and GBCA events.

I crewed last year for Harvest Moon 2010 and loved it. I typically crew on a competitive J/24 but try to make it down to the coast once or twice a year. I'm happy to cover all my own expenses!

My plans changed and I am available as a last minute addition to your crew! I pack very light and only need 6 hours notice to be at your dock in Houston/Kemah. Contact me by midnight tonight and we can be motoring to Galveston by daybreak. Or I can meet you in Galveston.

Me and my buddy (165 and 178lbs, respectively) are looking to crew on the 8/13 Rum Race #5.

I happy to assist crewing on anything from a Lightning up to a Santana 35. My buddy is new to the sport but knows the terminology and is not unfamiliar with boats. I have talked my buddy into buying a boat with me; we are going to be in the Clear Lake area looking at sailboats this weekend and already have lodging. Getting out on the water with the GBCA for the afternoon would be great. We're happy being active crew members, or simply acting as movable ballast this Saturday!

The boat I was scheduled for TRW has had to pull out of the race. I am looking for a new ride. I most recently crewed on J/109 Pole Dancer as the Jib Trimmer for the 2010 Leukemia Cup. Thanks for your consideration!

I'm glad you have this crew finder - I had three captains contact me for last year's Harvest Moon through your site and was able to find a spot on a boat last fall.

I am a 25 year old IT/Sales professional who grew up sailing, and is looking for more offshore sailing experiences off the Texas coast. I sailed in the 2008 Harvest Moon last year and race weekly in J/24 club races as a crew member doing foredeck, and also some of the local J/24 circuit stops. I sailed in the HYC J/24 circuit stop in 2008. Age 25, 175 lbs, and in excellent physical shape -  and looking for some more offshore sailing! I grew up sailing on a Catalina 30 in Seattle and I guess you could say generally know my way around a boat! I had a great time on the Harvest Moon Regatta last year and I'd love to crew on your boat this year!
