Mozilla Firefox is probably the most popular browser used after IE. As a webmaster myself I've never liked Google Chrome because it sometimes likes to display things differently than all the other browsers. That being said, Chrome is certainly a better choice over IE. Another good browser choice is Opera. 

On the other hand, you could restrict it to only GBCA members. This can easily be done with the use of a different usergroup on the forum for only GBCA members. Settings the permissions for that usergroup so only they could post in the classifieds area should prevent the spam.

Congrats on the new FoRum guys. Glad to see you didn't use phpbb. Sorry I wasn't able to help you setup up personally, but it looks like Kevin did a nice job.
