I know but why doesn't someone go in and take it down and block it. Seems like a simple thing to do.

Crew Finder / Need help taking your boat out
June 13, 2024, 07:28:08 AM
I have myself, experienced sailor, male, another friend, also a male, less experienced but we've sailed many races together and a third that's fairly inexperienced although has sat in on a few races with us.

If you need help to take your boat out, let me know. We can come and crew for you.

Crew Finder / Crew for Rum Races

We'd be interested in finding a boat to crew on for this summer. The last boat we all raced on, myself for many many years, that owner retired and moved with his boat to the East Coast. Hit me up if you need crew.

okay checked fruiter and saw Rum Race info. Just wierd to see the foreign language and ads.

I'v been out of pocket for some time. When I log in here I see all these what I assume are Russian language posts, and ads for non sailing stuff. I don't see a racing cleaner and I see no reference to Rum Races for this Summer. What's going on?

Two sailors seeking to positions to race for the Rum. We don't really drink though....just wanting to have fun on the water. We have wife/GF if you need more weight lol.

Experienced.

Crew Finder / looking for a boat to crew on
April 02, 2018, 07:11:04 AM
I've been crewing on the same sailboat for a long time, and that person has now retired. I'd like to find another boat that needs experienced crew. Casual sailing on weekends here or there, and/or racing if you're into that as well.

I have lots of sailing/boating experience. Someone with a laid back, or casual attitude would be good. Let me know if I can help. I might have a few other friends off the same boat if you're interested.

Cheers...

I'm taking out a 46 ft sailboat out of Boardwalk Marina this afternoon, and could use some help on the sails. You don't have to be super experience. Some experience would be helpful LOL.

We leave the dock about 1pm and will be out about 4 hours, give or take. Please call me if you'd like to go. Beer will be provided.

Great explanation for the reason to take some sailing lessons. Nice and concise. I keep telling my wife she needs to take lessons even though she has experience sailing on big boats. Thanks...

Thank you for taking a moment to help on this beautiful day. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours?CHEERS!

It looks like people on the deck without a sailing harness. Maybe they had rushed out hearing breaking waves?

The monohull yacht (2014 Bavaria 56 ft) has been reserved, fees paid, for June 13th thru June 27, 2015 picking up in Athens Greece. With one of the couples, the guy is a dive instructor and the plan is to ship our dive gear over (and back) via DHL. The stuff will be delivered to the yacht the day we get there, and then picked up the day we leave.

I (three couples on the boat) would like to find one more person that is an experienced sailor. You don't need to be at the level where you have sailing certifications as we have that covered, just someone comfortable with general operations on a sailboat. Two of the couples on the boat are experienced sailors, one is not.

We are looking for a single person, interested in going, and we'll provide a cabin for that person. We would want you to do the whole 15 days. This is not a working position and you'd have no more responsibilities than anyone else on the yacht. You'd be equally sharing in whatever we all do. You'd just need to pay your airfare in and out, and your expenses while in country.

Please let me know if you're interested. Cheers?.
