S2 7.9 newbie question

Hello Galveston  !!

We are a trio of Colorado sailors (well two Coloradoans and one Texan) who'll be hanging out in your lovely bay for the spring and we are looking forward to getting our tails kicked in your local races.

We do have a question for the other S2 7.9 owners out there.

The LYC Heald Bank and S2 7.9s. What modifications did you have to make to satisfy ISAF OFFSHORE SPECIAL REGULATIONS? Specifically the lifeline issue at the stern?

Any other helpful hints for the upcoming racing season?

Welcome to Galveston bay! Their have been notable S-2 7.9's here in the past (phrf 168) that have sailed to their rating. I recommend lots of Wed. night lake racing come spring. I do not recommend racing the 7.9 offshore regardless of what ISAF says. Get you and  your crew on a bigger boat.
