Heard some bad news tonight from El Paso. Hopefully things will work out. Hang in there Ben.

Just got a call from Caroline Miller.  Ben had a blood clot break loose from his leg and went to his lung as they were passing through El Paso on the way to the Catalina 22 Nationals in California.  Caroline says they got the clot taken care of and checked his legs to see if there were any more.  He is on blood thinners and will be in the hospital out there for about a week and then they will fly home. Rick has flown to El Paso and is driving the motor home and the boat back here.  Caroline says that Ben will be ready for phone calls when they get back home, but is not up to it right now.  She says thanks for everyone's concern.

Damn.  Ben's not old enough for this.

My previous main trimmer (one of the best) , Bill Charles, is also having problems.

I certainly hope they both come out with flying colors.
