This story doesn't seem right.  The owner of Mt. Gay is the French company Remy Cointreau.  This is a public traded company with many different brands, and they would not run the Mount Gay Distillery the way this is being portrayed.  As of 2 days ago, the visitor center at the distillery was providing tours and samples.  As far as I can tell, there are no other published stories suggesting they have closed.
