Galeveston Bay Dry Storage Options

Are any of the local hoists capable of lifting a Farr 30?  The boat weighs ~4500 lbs and draws 7 ft.

the crane at seabrook shipyard dry storage is 3 ton

As  AJ said the crane at Seabrook Marina says 3 ton,  there are two boats with 6 ft drafts but thy are lite boats. The channel was dredged  5 years ago.

May depend somewhat on trailer and lifting arrangement.  With single point lift, the issue may be getting the boat high enough to clear the trailer.

Thanks for all the responses.  When I initially called Seabrook they said 4000 lbs max but I'm glad to hear they are actually rated for 3 tons.  The boat is currently setup for single point lift and I'm trying to get some measurements to see if I'll be able to get enough clearance.

Did a depth sounding next to the bulkhead at the crane, tide was up some.  7 foot next to the bulkhead.
