Crew Position Regatta de Amigos

I am a retired mechanical engineer with over 25 years of sailing experience. I hold a current 100 ton US Coast Guard Masters license with both a sailing and towing endorsement. I have skippered my Catalina 30 in 13 Harvest Moon Regattas and have placed in at least 8 of them.  I am a past Houston Sail and Power Squadron Commander and teach sailing for them as well as the new Boat Operators Certification program. I am very good at troubleshooting on board mechanical and electrical problems.  I have never had the time for the Regatta de Amigos  until now and would be an asset on any boat.
