Land's End makes very high quality. long lasting clothing--you can upload a logo.  Shopping their clearance racks and specials, they provide great value.

General Discussion / Re: Best camcorder to use on a boat

Bee--did you get a shot of Musica flying past you?

I have the HD Hero, and it has a blemish in the lens--not on the outside--plus the battery they sent hasn't lasted very well at all.
Great shots, great camera though.  My computer is old and slow and won't even play the hd files. Upgrade time.

What do you need it for?  I have a few that may be usable a few more times--but not much more, and no guarantee.

Additional tip:  Do not gloat when viperman is swimming at the top mark, the seven seconds you are giggling are the seven seconds you might lose by.

Very nice--thank you...I can see clearly how bad our starts are on Zippity.

Did I see that the Sailing Instructions were to be posted online?  I missed the Skipper's meeting due to that already mentioned task of caring for children.

J/80 Doodah left the course at 2pm and  still hadn't rounded the 1st mark.  Stinger was closest to rounding--maybe one other boat.  There was N wind pushing off Red Bluff but a convergence zone over the race course, mostly.  A NE was trying to push in, but seem to bump up against the Northerly.

We turned to head home, put the kite up and blazed back in at 6-7 knots.

Crazy day--it would be a miracle if anyone finished.  It wasn't that cold once you became numb......

I personally seem to sail slower than most people--can I get a handicap?
