Crew Finder / J22 Crew Wanted for Wed nights
March 06, 2018, 09:00:24 PM
Crew position available on J22 for Wednesday night racing.   Don't have to do every Wednesday just commit to the ones you want to/can do.   Be at dock 530 PM latest to cast off.

We'll train you so need to be available a couple Saturdays/Sundays to learn the ropes.     J22 sailing is largest one-design fleet in Houston.  Competitive, large fleets.    Physical boat - you need to be in reasonable shape, good balance.  All three crew members working hard the entire race - not kick back with beer in hand just providing rail weight.

If interested, email rduste@aol.com and provide phone number.   Look forward to talking with you.

Learn to race in J22 One Design Races.   No experience required.   Agile and ability to move around deck of a 22 ft race boat important.   3 person crew so everyone is handling something - helm, main sail & jib, spinnaker.  Not just a deck lizard providing weight on the rail.    Operate out of Seabrook Marina.   If interested, respond to rduste@aol.com.   We'll get you out on the water and see what you think.

Crew Finder / Assembling J22 crews for 2015

New owner of J22 stored at Seabrook Marina.   Looking for crew members for practice days, icicle races, various weekend Regattas and some Wednesday night CLRA races.     Willing to rotate duties/positions to keep it interesting.  All experience levels welcome.

Don't need to commit to all races/days but do be reliable and show up when you've said you will.
