Nobody has acknowledged but i think we been hacked by Russians or Chinese or north Korea I don't think GBCA would be a Target it seems as such

I have myself, experienced sailor, male, another friend, also a male, less experienced but we've sailed many races together and a third that's fairly inexperienced although has sat in on a few races with us. We'd be interested in finding a boat to crew on for this summer. The last boat we all raced on, myself for many many years, that owner retired and moved with his boat to the East Coast. Hit me up if you need crew.

okay checked fruiter and saw Rum Race info. Just wierd to see the foreign language and ads.

I'v been out of pocket for some time. When I log in here I see all these what I assume are Russian language posts, and ads for non sailing stuff. I don't see a racing cleaner and I see no reference to Rum Races for this Summer. What's going on?

By the way i was told once if there are two boats on the water there is a race.....that's all it takes.

Thank you Lakewood Shoe Regatta for classic canvas class and a distance run.  I need to buy someone over there a drink.

ORC is far and away a better rating system than PHRF, whether its for the "racing" boats or racer cruisers.  There is a simple and easy process to get a club certificate without too much hassle.  Much easier to get an ORC certificate than a proper/fair PHRF rating.  We dont have enough race boats on the bay to split the pie into multiple pieces.  ORC for racing and Club Handicap for those that dont want to get a proper racing cert or go PHRF non spin.  Just my two cents.....

Thank you there is room on the bay for everyone. ORC and PHRF Please get all the boats out there and talk up the racing.

Registration is open for the 2024 Shoe Regatta at Lakewood Yacht Club. 

Please note a few changes from previous years – in particular, last day to register without a late fee is SUNDAY (not Wednesday) before the race.
