FREE 3 HOUR INTRODUCTION TO RACING/CREW WORK/BOAT PREP/SAIL TRIM ON YOUR BOAT OR MINE
01 Jan 2015 8:47 AM | Alan Bates
For New Racers:
We can not master all that in 3 hours, but we can find out what you need to learn, practice, or improve upon.  We can get some basic skills practiced for Rum/Icicle Races or buoy racing.  We can inspect your boat to optimize your assets for racing.

For Experienced Racers:
We can practice, fine tune, and hone your skills.  I offer 38 years of PHRF, and 14 years of one-design racing experience. We can bring your whole crew, or develop new crew during this time.  We can set goals and a timeline to achieve them.

Welcome, I do a lot of J/80 and J/105 training.  If you are interested in sailing your "Own" boat....www.bsailing.com
Enthusiasm and youth will go a long way with this crowd.  Join the seminar this weekend and get a spot to race, too.
Sea ya, Alan

I think this will be a good change---IF we can get the skippers to input the data.....I thought there was some provision for flogging the lead boats who do not turn in accurate and timely finishes.

Race #3 Spin Sprit:
Second Wind finished ahead of Airborne.

I think J105 Infinity, and J109 French Connection were ahead of us on Second Wind--I think we had a 4th.

The J/80 fleet is in a rebuild phase and there is a good one for sale at Seabrook Shipyard and two for sale at Lakewood.  I can help you decide, I am the local J/Boats Southwest broker  www.bsailing.com owner.  J/80 is a solid platform in PHRF Rum races and such, and we can get 4-5 local boats out racing OD.

We can get a sail on one if you like---need to schedule--so give a call...Alan Bates  281.212.7348

Hi, I am a funnel into the sport, you can learn to sail and race your "own boat" with an annual membership with B Sailing, or, I can put you aboard one of our boats as crew. I have lots of opportunity to get you sailing--call me and we can talk about your goals.
