Kevin:

I have talked some TMCA cruiser into joining in our our Club Hnadicap races. One boat , Kokopelli, enterd the information but has not seen a Handicap number yet. When you get a chance could you check to see if they got everything entered right and generate a rating number.

They plan to race with us on Saturday.

Thanks for setting up the Club Handicap system, we keep getting more boats racing each week.

well, the haddicap system works. I finshed dead in the middle last week and my rating did not change.

See you on the water later today.

Anyone need a crew member for this race tomorrow. I had planned to race my boat but no crew available. So, I can crew or I can take my boat if anyone is looking to race a cruising boat.

I enjoy racing but have never been in the winner cirlce that often as my boat is also our weekend cruising boat. I have told others they will know when I get serious as I will remove the Bar-B-Que pit. I will sign up in the Crusing class and see how many boats enter and see which class I end up with. We will have fun no matter what.

So, for a cruising boats we have PHRF Cruising Class non spin and a Cruising Class. Still a bit confused.

Check the Rum Race Sailing instruction on the GBCA home page. Your start time depends on your hadicap. Just find your hadicap and your start time is along side. For me with a 173 hadicap my start time is 5:08:36

Kevin:

When I first heard you mention this new system, TMCA meeting, I was onboard. Count on us entering in the Cruisng class for the icicle series.

Stellar of Course
CaL 33-2
PHRF rating 171.

I hope we have a warm January so we can more boats out.
