2012 Icicle Race Instructions

Travis,

H & J are not the same.  J is SE from Kemah 1/2; H is nearly due east; E is the same as the Rums.

This makes for a shorter 8.7 mile triangle course for the Icicles, vs. the 13.5 mile triangle for the Rums.

SI have the GPS coods.

Looks like shorts and light air for Icicle #1.  I can do this!!!

Grilled hot dogs and adult beverages on the patio and Texans football in the clubhouse after the race.

From 2 it is right at 2.62 miles to H at a bearing of 083...

Nice to see everybody on the water today.  T-shirts and shorts and a nice breeze. Thanks to Jim Powers for cookin' the dogs.  They are much better on the grill then in the water.  Looking forward to seeing everyone next week for Icicle #2.  Congrats to the Texans! An all round nice day!

The best one is that of the "Happy Boat Owners."  Don't know how they finished but the triplets certainly looked like they were having fun.
